TICKET AND EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Ticket and Event Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between ABS-CBN CANADA ULC (“ABS-CBN”, “us” or “we”) as producer of and seller of the ticket for the event currently entitled or referred to as “ASAP Vancouver” (“Event”) to be held at the Pacific Coliseum, Hastings Park, Vancouver, Canada (“Event Venue”) on October 18, 2025 (“Event Date”), and you as purchaser and/or user of the ticket for the Event. Any reference to “we,” “us,” or “our” in the Terms refer to ABS-CBN. Any reference to “You/you”, “User/user” or “Ticket Holder” refer to the person purchasing or using the Ticket, and/or attending the Event.

These Terms should be read together with the terms found at the back of the Ticket and/or those posted on the official ticket agency’s website, and any other terms or notices issued by ABS-CBN for and in relation to the Event.  In case of conflict between these Terms and those of the official ticket agency/ticket seller, the provisions of these Terms shall govern.

We may update the Terms from time to time without prior notice and your purchase and/or use of the Ticket constitute your acceptance of the Terms, and any amendment or updates thereto. Current version of the Terms, including recent updates, will be available for viewing on this website.

By purchasing or using a Ticket, and/or attending the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and will comply herewith. 

 

PURCHASE OF TICKET
Any person who would like to attend the Event may purchase a ticket (“Ticket”) from the official and authorized ticket sellers only as may be determined and announced by ABS-CBN.

On the day of the Event, Tickets may be purchased at the box office of the Event Venue, subject to availability. Tickets obtained from unofficial and/or unauthorized sources may have been lost, stolen, or otherwise illegally obtained, and/or may be counterfeit or for limited/specified use only, and if so are void and will not be honored at the Event. The person purchasing the Ticket shall be required to pay the price indicated on the Ticket, except in case of limited offers, authorized discounts or applicable promotions, if any (including but not limited to, early bird discounts for specific ticket tiers, e.g. general admission tickets, etc.). Tickets purchased directly from ABS-CBN’s authorized representatives, or from its authorized dealers, or at the box office of the Event Venue, or through Event Venue’s official ticket agency, may be paid using cash and/or credit card or other authorized payment methods as available in such platforms, subject to any and all applicable charges.  Tickets purchased from an official ticket agency/ticket seller are subject to such official ticket agent’s and/or ticket seller’s terms and privacy policy. By purchasing a Ticket, you acknowledge that ABS-CBN is not responsible for the ticket agent’s and/or ticket seller’s handling of your Personal Information, except where that information is transferred to ABS-CBN, in which case the ABS-CBN Data Privacy section (below) will govern.

You shall be responsible in confirming whether the Ticket you bought reflects the correct Event details so purchased and must ensure that the Ticket is kept in a safe place. You further acknowledge that the Ticket may be invalidated if any part of the ticket is removed, altered or defaced. Tickets purchased online may require a valid ID to be sighted at the time of entrance for identity verification against the name of the ticket/order to prevent fraud and ticket reselling. No personal information from the ID will be recorded, copied, or stored unless required by law (e.g. for age verification). This verification process is done solely to ensure the security and validity of your admission. ABS-CBN shall not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. You shall be responsible for safekeeping your ticket. In general, ABS-CBN will not replace any lost, damaged or defaced Ticket.

Purchase of the Ticket by Ticket Holder does not confer any rights to the Ticket Holder in and to the Event or any portion thereof or any element therein nor does it confer any right to the Ticket Holder to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket or used in connection with the Event. The Ticket Holder may not resell the Ticket at the Event Venue for above face value.

By purchasing a Ticket, you are entitled to enter the Event Venue on Event Date and to occupy a seat for the main show at the section assigned corresponding to the value/type of the Ticket you purchased. You acknowledge and agree that ABS-CBN reserves the right to provide you with alternative seat where it is not possible to allow you to occupy the specific seat printed on the Ticket. You further acknowledge and agree that the performance may be recorded by ABS-CBN. Such recording may include the use of cameras within or among the audience that may partially and/or temporarily obstruct portions of the performance as viewed from any individual seat.

 

ATTENDANCE TO THE EVENT
By purchasing a Ticket, you are entitled to enter Event Venue on Event Date, watch the Event’s main show and to have access to and/or attend the offerings during the Event such as, but not limited to, the different booths (TFC Marketing booths, sponsor booths, food booths, business, arts and crafts and media booths) and certain activities at the Event Venue depending on the inclusions corresponding to the value/type of the Ticket you purchased.

You must present the original Ticket to be admitted to the Event Venue. One ticket admits one person only. You must retain the original Ticket at all times at and during the Event.

By purchasing the Ticket and attending the Event, you agree that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions of the Event Venue.

You further agree and acknowledge that the Event is a public event, and as such you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your attendance, presence, actions and/or conduct in and at the Event.

By attending the Event, you understand, acknowledge and agree that your appearance, image, name, likeness, participation, and actions inside and within the vicinity of the Event Venue may be photographed, filmed, recorded, aired, distributed, reproduced, broadcast, printed or published by ABS-CBN, its parent and affiliates in any and all media or platforms worldwide and in perpetuity. By attending the Event, you hereby authorize and grant ABS-CBN, its parent and affiliates, without payment of any fee or compensation, the right to use, broadcast, display, record, distribute, air, exhibit, transmit, display, publish or reproduce your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearances, participation, movements and statements at the Event in any and all media or platform now known or hereafter developed, worldwide and in perpetuity without need of further authorization or approval from you or anyone acting on your behalf.

By attending the Event and/or by your presence at the Event Venue, you understand, acknowledge and agree that you have been informed of the ongoing production, recording, and/or photograph taking at or for the Event (“Production”) and that you expressly consent to being photographed and/or recorded as part of the Production and/or Event.  Further, by attending the Event and/or your presence at the Event Venue, you expressly grant to ABS-CBN and its Affiliates your permission for your image, likeness and voice to be included and used in the Production/Event, and for and in connection with the exhibition, airing, distribution, marketing, promotion and exploitation of the Production/Event worldwide, in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity) without your further approval, compensation, credit or other consideration.  If you do not wish to be photographed, recorded, or appear in the Production/Event under these conditions, then you should leave this area immediately and remain well out of camera and microphone range.  Failure to do so will conclusively be deemed a waiver of any and all claims for damages or other relief, including, without limitation, claims for misappropriation, violation of publicity rights, invasion of privacy, defamation, personal injury or loss of property.  Thank you for your cooperation.

You agree and confirm that you are attending the Event at your own risk and ABS-CBN shall not be liable for any medical or incidental health conditions, problems or risks that may occur during or in connection with your attendance at the Event.

ABS-CBN reserves the right to refuse admission to anyone at the Event or to order Ticket Holder to leave the Event Venue, without need to refund Ticket Holder for the price of the Ticket or without any liability on the part of ABS-CBN, under circumstances where ABS-CBN reasonably considers that the Ticket Holder has breached these Terms or any law, regulation or rules applying to the Event or venue of the Event.

At ABS-CBN’s sole discretion, the Ticket Holder who will come in late for the main show will only be admitted at suitable breaks during the main show.

 

PARTICIPATION, APPEARANCE, PERFORMANCE AT THE EVENT
If you perform, participate, and/or to appear in any portion, segment, program, show, activity of or at Event, including but not limited to the main show, (the “Participation”), you acknowledge and agree that your Participation is completely voluntary and of your own free will, and that you agree and grant ABS-CBN and its affiliates the right to use your Participation and your name, image, likeness, voice and/or biographical material (the “Name and/or Likeness) in, and in connection with, advertising, publicizing, airing, exhibiting, distributing, and exploiting (a) the Event; and (b) Other programs, events and/or shows, which shall be defined as promotional spots, trailers, excerpts, “behind the scenes” content, or other programs produced by ABS-CBN that use clips or segments from the Event, in whole or in part, by any and all means, media, devices, processes and technology now or hereafter known or devised in perpetuity throughout the universe. 

You acknowledge that the consideration you receive for this grant of rights and release includes the mutual promises herein and the opportunity to participate, perform and/or appear at the Event and that you will not receive any additional compensation or consideration in connection with your Participation and/or the use of my Name and/or Likeness. ABS-CBN shall have the right, but not the obligation to utilize your Participation and/or your  Name and/or Likeness in the Event or in any Other programs/events and/or shows as defined above.

 

CHANGES IN EVENT DETAILS
In case of Event cancellation due to acts of God, fire, earthquake, flood, public health emergency, labor dispute or strike, war or other disturbances, acts of public enemy, delay in or lack of transportation, any municipal or city ordinance, any state or federal law, governmental act, order, or regulation, epidemic, pandemic, legal impossibility or impracticability, death, accident, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), ABS-CBN may, at its sole option, either (a) reschedule the Event and (i) honor the same Ticket purchased for the Event at the rescheduled Event, or (ii) allow Ticket Holder to receive refund for the amount stated on the face of the Ticket (or, for a discounted Ticket, then the discounted Ticket price paid), without interest or penalty, provided the Ticket Holder submits his/her request for refund within the period and in accordance with the process and requirements specified by ABS-CBN; or (b) not reschedule the cancelled Event and refund the amount stated on the face of the Ticket (or, for a discounted Ticket, then the discounted Ticket price paid) to Ticket Holder, without interest or penalty. In case of Event cancellation for reasons other than Force Majeure, ABS-CBN may give you a refund of the amount stated on the face of the Ticket (or, for a discounted Ticket, then the discounted Ticket price paid), without interest or any penalty, provided the Ticket Holder submits his/her request for refund within the period and in accordance with the process and requirements specified by ABS-CBN.

In case of reschedule of the Event, ABS-CBN shall use reasonable means to timely inform the Ticket Holder of the new schedule of the Event.

ABS-CBN reserves the right to change the venue of the Event due to unavoidable circumstances such as, but not limited to Force Majeure, and endeavors to find a suitable substitute venue within the vicinity of the current Event Venue. ABS-CBN further reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute the artists of the main show and/or any show or activity, and/or vary the advertised activities, and/or the program for the main show, any show/activity, time of activities, ticket prices, seating arrangements and audience capacity for and in connection with the Event. In any of these cases, ABS-CBN shall announce the changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

ABS-CBN shall not be liable for deviations from the program schedule of the Event and/or main show, or any show/activity, or any possible loss, expenses, and/or inconvenience that may arise from such changes.

You agree to indemnify and hold ABS-CBN, its affiliates, including their shareholders, officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents and representatives free and harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, damages, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with any changes or deviations from the Event details.

 

REFUND POLICY
Ticker Holder may be entitled to a refund of his/her Ticket for the Event if the Event is cancelled whether or not due to Force Majeure as provided above (Changes in Event Details).

If a refund is allowed as provided above, ABS-CBN will refund to the Ticket Holder only the amount stated on the face of the Ticket (or, for a discounted Ticket, then the discounted Ticket price paid), without interest or penalty.

Other than in cases where the Event is cancelled whether or not due to Force Majeure as provided above, the Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. Without limiting the foregoing, Ticket Holder understands and acknowledges that for certain Event/s, the concept of the main show of the Event is that of an ensemble variety entertainment show composed of various artists, and that there is/are no specific artist or artists, host or hosts, performer or performers who are headlining the main show; hence, no refund shall be allowed in the event that one or some of the artist/s, host/s and/or performers comprising the artist line-up are withdrawn from main show and/or any activity of the Event, or do not, and/or are not able to appear or perform at the main show and/or any activity of the Event.

 

RESTRICTIONS
Minors, if allowed, must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times during the Event.

If you are or may be possibly pregnant or have other physical ailments or conditions, we strongly advise that you do not attend the Event and if you do want to attend, you are advised to consult your physician prior to attending the Event and you acknowledge that you are attending the Event at your own risk.

You shall not sell, resell, reproduce, or use the Ticket for any purpose/s, commercial or otherwise, such as advertising or promotions of any other products or services without prior express written consent of ABS-CBN. Unlawful or unauthorized reproduction, use, sale (or attempted sale), resale (or attempted resale) of the Ticket or any counterfeit Ticket is ground for seizure and/or cancellation of ticket without compensation. Such prohibited acts may further subject party(s) to all applicable civil and/or criminal penalties.

Ticket Holder shall be solely responsible for arranging and paying for any and all arrangements for or relating to his/her attendance to the Event, including but not limited to the costs and expenses for travel, accommodations, hospitality, meals. If the Ticket Holder is entitled to a refund of his/her Ticket under these Terms and Conditions, ABS-CBN shall only refund the amount stated on the stated on the face of the Ticket (or, for a discounted Ticket, then the discounted Ticket price paid), without interest or penalty, but shall not and not be liable for, nor reimburse said Ticket Holder for any cost or expense paid or incurred in connection with his/her attendance to the Event, such as but not limited to the costs and expenses for travel, accommodations,  hospitality, meals, or for lost income, salary or wages.

The Ticket does not include the costs of any additional goods or services, unless otherwise indicated by ABS-CBN. Furthermore, the Ticket Holder is not entitled to transport, parking, merchandise or any food or beverage during the Event. Other independent service providers may provide goods, merchandise, food, beverage, parking, transport or other services, and the costs and expenses therefor shall be borne solely and separately by the Ticket Holder. In such case, the terms of such service providers will apply between the Ticket Holder and the service provider.

ABS-CBN reserves the right to prohibit the taking of photos, audio recording, and/or video recording of, at, or during the Event, and/or the uploading, publishing, and/or distributing such photo or video recordings. Any Ticket Holder or any person engaging in such prohibit recording and/or distribution of any audio or video element of the Event may be subject to civil and/or criminal penalties.

The Ticket Holder shall be responsible for safekeeping and securing his/her belongings and properties which he/she will bring at the Event Venue. ABS-CBN shall not be liable for loss, damage or destruction of the Ticket Holder’s belongings or properties.

The Ticket Holder must put all mobile phones, tablets and similar devices on silent mode prior to start of the main show and/or any show/activity of or at the Event. Ticket Holder is further prohibited from the use of such devices during the performance, including but not necessarily limited to, engaging in telephone conversations, taking flash assisted photos or video, using any application that unreasonably disrupts and/or distracts the performance/performer, or using any application that unreasonably disturbs and/or distracts other attendees/Ticket Holders.

The Ticket Holder is prohibited from bringing any of the following items inside the Event Venue, such as but not limited to:

• Food and/or drinks.
• Items that may injure, harm, or annoy other persons, including but not limited to, chemical substances which give obnoxious fumes or smoke, glass bottles, alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs and substances, weapons, fireworks, flammable substances or materials, and other similar items.
• Items intended for sale unless with express permission from ABS-CBN.
• Any item that may impede the conduct of the Event, such as but not limited to laser pointers
• Items that may destroy or deface any portion, facility, equipment, area of or at the Venue.
• Items prohibited to be brought at the Event Venue by the Venue owner/operator in accordance with its rules/terms/policies;
• Any other item as may be reasonably determined by ABS-CBN.

Failure to comply with the foregoing will bar Ticket Holder from entry to the Event Venue. Discovery of such prohibited items may also subject the Ticket Holder to seizure and/or arrest, as well as the applicable civil and/or criminal penalties.

 

OTHER TYPES OF FORCE MAJEURE
ABS-CBN shall not be liable to Ticket Holder for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms to the extent that the failure is caused by legal impossibility or impracticability or other types of Force Majeure. Other types of Force Majeure are those causes beyond ABS-CBN’s control including, without limitation, acts of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, third party injunction, national defense requirements, acts or regulations of national or local governments.

 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
ABS-CBN is and shall remain the sole owner of the Event, and any and all logos,  titles, marks, elements and portions thereof and of, for, in, related to or in connection with the Event, including but not limited to the main show, including, but not limited to trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and other intellectual property therein and thereto (the “Intellectual Property”).

Ticket Holder acknowledges that he/she does not have and will not acquire any right, title or interest in the Intellectual Property, nor any party thereof. The Ticket Holder agrees that he/she will not directly or indirectly do or cause to be done or permit any act which may in any way jeopardize or adversely affect the validity of the Intellectual Property or ABS-CBN’s title thereto.

 

DATA PRIVACY
This section outlines how ABS-CBN Canada ULC (“ABS-CBN,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, retains, and shares your personal information in connection with your purchase of the Ticket and your attendance at the Event, in compliance with Canada’s PIPEDA and British Columbia’s PIPA.

1. The Personal Information We Collect

We collect personal information necessary for the execution of the sale, admission, and your safety at the Event. This may include, but is not limited to:

• Name, mailing address, phone number, and email address (collected at the point of ticket purchase).
• Payment details (though typically processed by a third-party ticketing platform) and your ticket purchase history.
• IP address, browser type (if purchased online), and potentially your image or voice if you are recorded (as per the Participation section).

2. Purposes of Collection and Use

We collect and use your personal information solely for the following identified purposes:

• To process your ticket purchase, issue your Ticket, and authenticate your identity for admission to the Event Venue.
• To send you essential updates, information, and notices regarding the Event, including any reschedules, cancellations, or changes in Event details.
• To ensure the safety of all attendees and to comply with any legal or regulatory requirements related to public gatherings.
• To send you marketing or promotional materials for future ABS-CBN events, only if you have provided separate, express consent (opt-in) for this purpose.

3. Consent and Withdrawal

• By purchasing a Ticket and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you provide your implied consent for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of Event Fulfilment and Safety/Security (as they are reasonably necessary to provide the service).
• You have the right to withdraw your consent for marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the communication or by contacting the Privacy Officer listed below. Withdrawal of consent for essential service purposes (e.g., ticket issuance) may prevent us from providing the service to you, in which case a refund may not be available.

4. Cross-Border Data Transfer (Accountability)

ABS-CBN is a multinational company. The personal information collected in Canada may be transferred to, stored, and processed by ABS-CBN Corporation and/or its affiliates in the Philippines and/or other foreign jurisdictions for necessary operational purposes, including ticketing, customer support, data storage, and analytics.

Under Canadian privacy law, ABS-CBN Canada ULC remains accountable for your personal information even when it is transferred outside of Canada to its affiliates or third-party service providers for processing.

We use contractual and organizational measures to ensure that your personal information receives a comparable level of protection to that provided under Canadian law while it is being processed outside of Canada. However, your personal information will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is located.

5. Access, Retention, and Disposal

• Access and Correction: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request that any inaccuracies be corrected.
• Retention: We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations (typically six years for financial records).
• Disposal: Once the purpose for retaining the information has expired, we will securely destroy, erase, or render the personal information anonymous to prevent unauthorized access.

INDEMNITY
The Ticket Holder agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ABS-CBN (including ABS-CBN’s shareholder, officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents and representatives) from and against any and all claims, losses, liability, damages, injury, death, costs or expenses, including without limitation attorney’s fees and costs, arising out of or relating to the Ticket Holder’s breach or alleged breach of any obligation, representation or warranty under these Terms.
